Context:
This piece is one-third of a triptych exploring fighting & warrior cultures—Norse Vikings, Japanese Samurai, and Arabian Knights. Focused on the Vikings, it captures the brutal beauty of their world: fierce battles, mythic beliefs, and the harsh price of honor. A fallen warrior bleeds into the snow as a Valkyrie descends, symbolizing his passage to Valhalla. Though each culture differs, they’re united by shared values of strength, sacrifice, and legacy.
